I wish I could lay claim to the pigeon in this shot (Done by Renee Binkowski), however, I was responsible for the 'Techno-bandage' he's sporting on his compromised wing.

I had to wrangle a simple shader to create convincing metal and various types of vinyl and plastic, plus create a lot of displacement effects on relatively simple geometry.
