The plate needed to be reconstructed due to a post move. The actor (you can see his elbow poking into frame in the plate fragments image, the lower frame) fell into the original plate, which had a heavy hand-held move to it as well as a big pad on the ground. there was a pad that fell into the shot... a grip (!?) standing in the background as well as c-stands and... well, you get the idea. The shot was meant to be motion blurred when post moved, so it was a forgiving assembly.
