Under Doug Chiang's watchful eye, I designed and supervised the build of this creature. It was teh heaviest stop-motion puppet we'd ever built at Tippett Studio, coming in around 15 or so pounds. It took two support structures to hold it up.
Not only was it mainly sculpted digitally and 3d printed, most of the detailing of trash on it's legs and back were done 'old-school' by gluing bits of model kits and debris after the fact. Even Doug lent a hand!
I did the final paint and detailing. Scale was important. She needed to look HUGE.
